The hotel offers magnificent views from the excellent rooms, though being on two levels and facing the road made it incredibly warm, leading to some sleep disturbance. I had a delightful stay at this hotel. The rooms, although a bit small, were charming and offered complimentary tea, coffee, and biscuits with a lovely view of the lake. What a delightful stay! The hotel offers spacious, clean, and well-appointed rooms with a balcony, albeit similar in prices to other overpriced hotels in the area. The friendly and efficient staff go above and beyond, making the service top-notch. The location is unbeatable, right by the lake shore with amazing views and easy access to all the sights. The dining experience was outstanding, although slightly marred by a barking dog. Overall, a place I would highly recommend for a lovely stay in Ambleside.
